After a two-year Corona break, the International „Grüne Woche“ in Berlin has finally been able to take place again. The Forum Moderne Landwirtschaft e.V. (FML), whose mission is to inform the public about agriculture and food production in Germany, runs the so-called „Erlebnisbauernhof“ (experience farm) at the fair every year. In January 2023, the motto of the event was „Secure food. Protect nature“.
The aim of the exhibition was to reach a heterogeneous audience, from politicians to trade visitors and the general public, with daily fair videos. The core message: German agriculture is modern, secures food and cares about animal welfare and nature conservation.
For this purpose infokontor developed together with FML a stage program for hall 3.2 and realized daily fair videos. In the process, the production team filmed and edited discussions, lectures and demonstrations on a wide variety of agricultural topics during the first five days of the trade fair. Guests included Franziska Giffey as Governing Mayor of Berlin and the Federal Ministers Cem Özdemir and Christian Lindner.
The stage program was closely coordinated with FML on-site, including stage setup, content coordination, guest management, and content production. We used three cameras to capture the program and conducted additional interviews with the ministers, other panel participants, and exhibitors in Hall 3.2. The video content, along with photo material, was produced on-site as video highlights, statements, and daily trade fair videos, made available on FML’s channels, and also distributed them daily to the relevant editorial media in Germany. This ensured daily coverage in TV, online, radio, newspapers, and magazines.
